After the Single Use researcher Jeremy Greene delivered a presentation titled ‘After the Single Use: Rethinking the Role of Single-Use Plastics in Healthcare’ at the 2026 Institute for Health and Society (IHS) seminar series.
The seminar explored the historical development and contemporary impacts of single-use plastics within healthcare systems, examining how disposable medical technologies became embedded in clinical practice and the environmental challenges associated with their continued use.
