In February 2026, Jeremy Greene and Alice Street organised ‘Medical Waste, Sustainability and the Hidden Costs of Care’, a workshop at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies.

The workshop brought together multiple stakeholders to discuss medical waste and sustainability in healthcare. As part of After the Single Use, the event created an opportunity to share research and consider the costs associated with the materials and waste produced through systems of care.
