Join us for an interactive workshop forming part of a collaboration between the Wellcome Trust-funded After the Single Use project and the University of Vienna’s Imploding Dialysis project. This event brings together representatives from healthcare, policy, academia, and industry to explore the social, material, and environmental dimensions of dialysis.

The workshop aims to share perspectives on the history and current practice of dialysis, examine the design and environmental impact of single-use components, and collaboratively imagine alternative approaches that prioritise sustainability, accessibility, and quality of life. Insights generated will contribute to a future public exhibition and recommendations for research.
